My Altars Then and Now

Thought I would post a real quick post on what my altars looked way back when I started my Pagan path back in 2007/08 and the Present 2013 when my pagan practiced changed from Ecclectic Wicca and then changed drastically to a Hellenic Polytheist.

As you see below these are my Ecclectic Wiccan Altars.. Chaotic as hell right? I think it shows I was totally all over the damn place lol

And my Hellenic Altars 2011-13..hmm still a bit "cluttered" but more focused on one God or Goddess for  each  month of the year.

    Wow, what a difference! I love the troll in the Yule photo. =) And the mini columns in the Zeus photo. Are those handmade?

    I don't see the early ones as chaotic, though. I still an order and pattern to what you chose to use. Cluttered, maybe, but beautiful, as are the more recent ones.

    Hiya Cara , yes they are hand made out of a Aluminium foil cardboard core and corrugated cardboard for teh tops and bottoms and painted in white! I'm hoping to make more and maybe gift a few to my friends who are hellnist too :) glad you like my previous altars . i liked them too but that was way back when i first started becoming a Pagan and I had wiccan influences there.

My Pagan Bookshelf

Today i thought I would share what is on my Pagan bookshelf. I know a lot of Pagan have tons of Pagan books , but I personally don't seem to have that many, but hopefully I shall be expanding on it soon once I can get the funds for it of course . I always strive to have as many books as possible whether it be on tourism and tourist places like the Seychelles, or even educational books or story books. All books are precious and fortunately i have been blessed with so many I could turn my house into a library! Once i moved to Scotland my fiance couldn't believe the amount of boxes I had filled with just books alone (4 large boxes to be exact) he even said to me "Are you planning on even reading these books ever AGAIN?" What a daft question to ask. I may not read them all again, but at least i will have them to hadn't just incase I have the urge to read them again. Updates and other Life stuff

Dear friends, I know I haven't written in quite a while and it is really bad of me I know. Have been kept quite busy around the house and so on , trying to keep it nice and relatively clean as I can make it, but its not easy when a certain someone doesn't like to pick up after himself (you know who you are). So what has been happening in my life lately? I have been going to a and employment adviser at a place called Ingeus and they are very helpful in helping me get a job. They are like an Agency , but then again not as they don't send out your CV's to anyone and everyone, so they are there to help and Support you like giving you advice, point you to the right job hunting websites, help you at mock interviews , do workshops, teach you new I.T Skills etc. In fact they seem to help you much more than the Jobcentre does! Prayer to Lady Artemis

So I was at my computer and I felt like my mind had been "possesed" into doing a prayer for Lady Artemis. I don't know if its coz I haven't been doing my daily prayers of late to her *Gasp* (yes, I have been naughty) but hopefully having written this praise with her in mind, she will forgive me.
