Life of a Hellenic Polytheist

So I have decided that  I'm going to be posting at least one everyday as part of my own study to get deeper into Hellenism.  It is said that these were the words of the god Apollon and they were located at his temple in Delphi and were supposedly meant to help Mortals to live a more pious and virtuous life. Delphic Maxims #1: Follow God Now this doesn't necessarily mean follow a single God as the Maxim decrees. For those New to Hellenism, this simple means that you must Follow your Gods in a humble way and to be utterly respectful. This Maxim is by no means a Christian Maxim and shoudl not be taken as such; unless you are following a Abrahamic religion, then obviously Hellenism is not for you , since it is a mainly a Polytheistic Religion Poly=MANY. Many of the Ancient Greeks, were very religious and so saw the Delphic Maxims as a good guideline to a sence of good way of living ones life with Piety and virtuousness. Hail and Welcome I recently got this long awaited book as a christmas present from a dear friend of mine. i highly reccommend this book to anyone wanting to read up on Hellenism. BOOK REVIEW: "KHARIS" BY Sarah Kate Istra Winter  Not a "beginners book" or an advanced book, sort of in the middle . While it is not a " How to" book for those very new to Hellenism , it was written with the intention that book readers will already have established a connection within Hellenism and the Gods and have a sound foundational knowledge of what Hellenism is about.  To be honest it is what the Book "Hellenic Polytheism: Household worship" by Labrys could have been. In fact if you were to mash both books together it would be an ideal book for both beginners and those whom already have a sound knowledge of Hellenism. I would rate this book a straight 9*/10*, simply because although it was very well written, very descriptive and informative, it could have ...
