Honouring Heroes and Nature Divinities
"Come back with your shield or On It" - ( Film 300) So this blog was inspired by a Hellenic Reconstructionist friend of mine of who posted two questions on his own blog regarding honouring the Greek heroes and Nature divinities. The questions that had posted were thus: 1) Research the mythology surrounding one of the Greek heroes: Herakles, arkelleus. theseus Perseus or any other of your own choosing. what was that heroes lineage? what makes them a hero? how do they relate to the Olympians? 2) How do nature divinities and Heroes fit into your world view? are they worshipped? do you give them offerings?
