Following on form a Prayer I did to Artemis, I thought it befitting to do a prayer to Artemis form a mothers point of view in order for Artemis to take care of her daughter/s. As Artemis is normally associated with being a Protector of Children and Infants , she is more associated in being a Protector of young girls, whereas her twin brother Apollo is more associated with the protection of young boys .  I sing in praise of Lady Artemis,  Great virgin huntress of the wild forests of Gaia and Protectoress of Young maidens.  Swiftly do you travel through the forest as the light of Selene illuminates your way. Great huntress of the silver bow,  grant my daughter your strength and agility in all things.  Let her never falter in her quests, however hard they may be.  Beloved virgin daughter of Zeus and Leto and twin sister to Lord Phoebus Apollo. So I was at my computer and I felt like my mind had been "possesed" into doing a prayer for Lady Artemis. I don't know if its coz I haven't been doing my daily prayers of late to her *Gasp* (yes, I have been naughty) but hopefully having written this praise with her in mind, she will forgive me.
